It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to you at Herdade Foz da Represa, a unique destination situated in the picturesque municipality of Mértola, in the district of Beja, conveniently located at km 22​/​23 on the National Road 122. Our estate, evolving around a stately mansion dating back to the early 19th century, holds a rich history, having served as a venue for Masonic meetings until the April Revolution. Post-revolution, it became a captivating backdrop for numerous national film productions. Currently, we are in the process of documenting and planning renovations to enhance the facilities and overall experience. While we may not provide infrastructure support such as water, sewage, or electricity for overnight stays, we take pride in offering a safe and comfortable self-contained parking area. Furthermore, our expansive estate offers the opportunity for leisurely strolls in a tranquil environment (several hiking and biking trails all around) . Since January 2023, we have curated a range of engaging tourist experiences, including wine tastings, nature picnics, romantic moments in our chapel, and personalized events. Our estate features a charming small shop where you can discover unique souvenirs, and a wine bar specialised in wines indigenous to Mértola, available by the glass or bottle.
