We love the location and views and changes in weather. We are up 1300 above sea level, its much cooler then closest bigger town Orgiva or Cadiar. We are quite isolated as its old BODEGA finca not in the village as such but we do have Spanish lovely neighbours and visitors and friends coming often. We bought our farm nearly 2 years ago and we are slowly making changes to this land and the house. Our overall goal of the place : Minimal harm to the natural environment, seeking meaningful and trusting relationships with volunteers and our surrounding community while building a strong sustainable food forest and place for tranquillity and artistic experience. Every year we have Almond harvest from middle of September over few weeks. We will manually harvest using nets and a leaf agitators (small rakes) to shake the almonds from trees. Then we will be processing almonds using local machines that we will borrow from our neighbours. You will have a lot of almonds to take and you will be able to make your own almond butter and milk with us if you fancy! The buses are from Torvizcon village to Granada and other local towns here. Our 1 dogs and 3 cats are kept outside and have shelter in the garage too for them. We also have chickens. We have a fire place for those chilly nights and gas heaters and electric blankets run on solar. Alternatively we still have a beautiful big bell tent that could be out up on site ( that would need some preparation and it might involve you helping with it, if needs be). We have water from town so there is currently no problem with water and you can have warm showers! We have solar power and internet all year round. We have basic set up kitchen but functional with fridge and small freezer where you could store your food if needed. Looking foreword to hearing from you soon, Best wishes Aleksandra (Ola) and Martin and Maya:) p.s. Ola is Polish permaculture designer and artist, healer and Martin is British and has background in business and trading especially cryptocurrency, currently also teaching English online. Maya our daughter is 4 and loves people and fun!
